Job Description:

Pelvic Laser Institute is looking for a skilled Sonogram / Ultrasound Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who is motivated, hardworking, and willing to grow with us.

• Able to communicate effectively with patients and provider
• Performs ultrasound examinations which include, 3D & 4D imaging with multiple imaging modalities, specific to gynecological/obstetrical examinations/procedures, this includes being experienced with NT Scans and anatomy scans for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities:
Perform ultra-sound on OB and GYN patients.

Responsibilities

• Experience in OB/GYN is required.
• This position performs transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasounds for OB\GYN patients and requires collaborating with physicians, nurses, and patients by providing expert care and service.
• Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment
• Provide sonogram and oral or written summary of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis
• Monitor supply stock to ensure adequate reserve
• Perform preventative maintenance on ultrasound and medical equipment, troubleshoots malfunctions, and promptly reports deficiencies to management
• Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures associated with safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and company operation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
* Graduate of accredited program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and registry eligible required.
* Must maintain active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in specialty areas.
* Possesses a broad knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology and/or physiological data.
* Competent in Ultrasound reporting systems.

Required Licensure/Certifications

FTE/Hours per pay period: At least 8-16 hrs/per week (part-time);

• Shift: Day; ( Schedule flexible)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour
